MUSIC THE ALGORITHM REFUSES.

STATIC is an independent label and distribution engine for electronic, experimental and left-field artists. We press vinyl, we stream everywhere, we split 50/50 — and we never let a recommendation engine decide what matters.

ASK US ANYTHING

Straight answers. If your question isn't here, write to hello@static.label.

Do I keep my masters?

Always. We license your record for release; you own the recordings forever. If we part ways, the music leaves with you.

How do royalties work?

50/50 on everything, from the first stream. We split at the source — no recoupment tricks, no hidden deductions. Statements every quarter.

Do you press vinyl for every release?

Yes — every release gets a physical edition. Vinyl when the record deserves the weight, tape for the cheap-and-nasty stuff, and digital everywhere, always.

How long until my record is out?

Three to five months after signing, depending on pressing plant queues. We'll keep you posted at every step.

Can I leave the label?

After the first 12 months, you can leave with your masters and your rights. We'll even help you find your next home.

THE FEEDBACK LOOP
